Little Bit

Little bit of Edie Sedgwick in this one, I think. Adore this song and adore this video.

Also, her video for Possibility is mesmerizing.

East of Eden

I finally got around to viewing the dvd I had bought over a month ago, and it was something, all right. Strange, hilarious, wonderful shots, &etc.
James Dean is a hoot. The BEST kind of hoot.

And I absolutely adored Abra's dresses. If I could just have them...My favorite of hers, I think. There were others, but this one, lkasjdlaksd. I'm not sure why it has to be in black and white, but whatever. It's actually a pale pink, and very elegant...and the movie is in color, as well. Anyway, the dress had these subtle layers on the end of it and was longer and just fabulous. Fashion from 1800-1920, the bestest.

2011

These are the first two (and only two, as far as I can tell) pictures from the 2011 Jane Eyre with Alice as Jane. Soooo excited (!)

This is

who I was named after. Lauren Upp, too:

And the man my dad adores. And the baller man in Maltese Falcon. And Casablanca. Which, I need to watch again: I watched it in high school, but I didn't find it all that appealing. But then again, I don't like PBR, either.

Also, Lauren Bacall reminds me of Raina on ANTM on this season (FYI: WEAK season, Tyra, WEAK).

I was asked

,by the man who works on my mom's computer and my laptop, if this was my boyfriend:
Ben Whishaw in Bright Star.
Also,
a wonderful, WONDERFUL song:

Anew

Aspen, circa mid 1970s. I referenced Heidi the other day to convey my feelings about CO, but sadly the people I was with didn't understand. In the 1993 version of Heidi, Klara is able to walk almost perfectly in the mountains and she can't when she's in the city. My city is Ohio and my mountains are the West: my mind is crippled for now.

Thunder is unappreciated. Cease, loud sounds!
