I, you just have to love how vulnerable and timid Dylan looks. He and my darling Steve Bays have this baby-face, adorable, puffy-cheeked something or rather that I adore entirely. When Dylan looks up at the end, what an angel.

Oh, it doesn't stop there...
I had gone to OSU with my contemporary novel class senior year of college to see The Warhol Exhibit at the Wexner Center and had tried to see as much as I could, but of course, with all the screen tests and wanting to watch Hinson play with the Silver Clouds, I obviously couldn't find everything I wanted. I remember asking something in the very beginning of the tour about Edie and the tour guide looked at me like, "oh!" and Hinson was like, "oh, you like Edie?" I felt like a shining star for a hot second because everyone else was just blank-faced :D Gold star, ta-da! SO, with that said, I knew about Dylan being at The Factory, I THINK I knew about Dali and Bowie having screen tests, but I just came across them on Youtube, which I'm ecstatic about because I didn't get a chance to see them when I saw the exhibit.

I don't care how much anyone tries to make fun of Canada, they're the cutest. And have sublime mountains. On which I can ski.
And lots of French.
And crepes.
And cuties.

Plus, a recent article about him in GQ hit very close to a final paper I wrote on Whitman in Eng 290 with Dr. Davis. No wonder Davis dug it: it's obviously brilliant, HA.

I get to fall in love again

It was complete bliss reading this for the first time when I was 21 and this looks like a fantastic rendering; true to the story (it seems) and captivating and goose bump-making.

Maybe if someone won't read the book, someone would maybe perhaps possibly uh could and should see the movie?? You know who you are, my little Rochester.

Maybe I'll read it yet again before March 2011 (release date). Mmmmmmmm, 19th century splendor.

After ANTM

I can't even relay how much I adore Allison Harvard.

I was looking into what she has been doing after ANTM, and she's signed with Nous Model, apparently. I think. She didn't need to win to be spectacular and perfect. Yeeyah. She also has a bunch of photos on Stumbleupon.com if you type in her name. They're divine. There are also a couple nice ones on Tumblr.com, too.

Bliz, blaze

Today I went thrifting with Michelle and Cassie.

I found another spectacular blazer: this one is quite like the blue velvet one I got a couple months ago, only this new one is a bright-ish maroon. Cassie called it a Willy Wonka blazer. Haw.

Blazer: $2
Vest for a certain someone for Xmas: $2
Dry cleaning to make them both smell/look better: $10 total.



It's darker than this picture, but this is the blazer. It's also a wee bit big, but, it'll be fine.


And this is the vest.

I don't really care about wearing other people's clothes, but I absolutely loathe the smell. And for me, smell is everything.
Speaking of smells, Autumn Lodge by Yankee Candle is my current candle. J'adore.

Morgan Matthews

Steampunk

Steampunk: is a sub-genre of science fiction, alternate history, and speculative fiction that came into prominence during the 1980s and early 1990s. Specifically, steampunk involves an era or world where steam power is still widely used—usually the 19th century and often Victorian era Britain—that incorporates prominent elements of either science fiction or fantasy. Works of steampunk often feature anachronistic technology or futuristic innovations as Victorians may have envisioned them; in other words, based on a Victorian perspective on fashion, culture, architectural style, art, etc.



Boots from a website that specializes in this fashion. There were a lot of things going on in my dreams last night, and these boots were one of the subjects, haaa.

Simple, plain shirt. But I dig.


They also sell lots of men's clothes, which have the look of Sherlock Holmes or a ringleader. I would love on any man who wore these get-ups.

Almost all the men's vests are super-swankilicious.

I also liked the Black Cherry Jacquard Vest, om num num.
