Holla' atcha' author

We at the Denver PI have had the great honor of not only having the author of this book (Kirk Farber) visit us, but he stayed and talked to us for 2 sessions. And his book is GREAT so far. I only just started, but his tone, voice, diction, etc. is SPLENDID. I highly recommend.

I also spoke with him a bit..........and he signed my book-o. And we joked about how we frequently speak with Zooey Deschanel. Clarification: they might want to make his book into a movie, but since indie movies aren't being made right now (had this been 3 years ago, he'd be set to jet), he's having a little trouble. I can't exactly see why because it's SO easy to get into, and if you speak with him for 5 minutes, you'll be sold. Tell your friends. Love on him as I do. He's quirky and immensely smart and polite.

Also, something associated with him and something cool I just signed up on:

Get up and go!

For my birthday, which is now in July, Amy bought me a tree necklace and this:

How nice of her.
I'm very excited to use it. And also ecstatic to have something new!

Well, mountains, I'll see you soon!

There and Back Again

A possible purchase. I'd really like a working one, so contemporary it is. Or more contemporary, I suppose.

An idea, anyhow. Still looking to see if anything seems better than that one.

Also, had Coast to Coast in my head (after returning from San Francisco, and having a delay and thus being flown to New York instead of straight from Georgia to Ohio), and came about this:

Hahahaha, little bouncy bumbo.

Trip was superb: pictures to come. Although, Okto had a blow to its shoulder at the end of the trip, so I doubt that film will come out at all. And dad and I have to fix the winding spool because it, along with the film itself, snapped. Ay yi yi. But praise the heavens, he's a professional with that stuff so he says he can fix it/have it fixed easily enough. Hot dog. The panoramic, fish eye, and of course, digital pictures should be just a-ok, though. Very excited.

Late 1980s...

Fred Penner's Place. I remember watching this when I was VERY little and loving it dearly. I couldn't name it for the longest time, but last night, I didn't give up and FINALLY found the title of it: SUCCESS.

Very calm and nature-loving. Loves.

"FAMOUS!"

-James Franco, in Whatever It Takes.

Hilarious 90s/early 2000s movie. A must-see. VERY underrated and greatly quirky and fun. Every time I wanted something to happen, something nuts, it DID.

And James Franco is in it. Sold.
